Would you believe thats the new piece of hardware which has Apple technology in it? This is I guess one of the oh-so-normal piece of hardware which has Apple technology in it. If you were excited wnough to watch the launching of this phone Steve Jobs did, you would understand. There were absolutely no excitement in the audience when ROKR was previewed officially. Well this could also be due to the fact that this was one of the worst kept secrets in recent times in technology world.
So whats inside ROKR. First, its called ‘rocker’ if you were wondering about ROKR.
It carries a iTunes client software which you can use to listen upto 100 songs that are stored in your phone. the iTunes client can be synched from your desktop using iTunes 5.0 which can detect the ROKR when connected via a USB cable. You just drag and drop your songs on the phone icon and there you are. 100 songs ready to be played in stereo. ROKR has stereo speakers which I have heard enhnaces the regular call quality also.
Is this something new? Well we all have been playing music on our phones. aint we? I have been bored of doing that on my Nokia Series 60 phone. Is the iTunes client capable of buying the songs online via the phone?
Over all it was a let down for all the fans waiting for this one since last one year.
