ok, so its been more than a couple of months since we moved to vonage. actually we didnt move, but we added vonage (we still have the regular phone line, for my dsl access).
all i can say is that the experience so far is wonderful. i mean for $24.99 + $1.50 + 3% for unlimited u.s. and canada is awesome. we make a lot of calls almost daily to canada, so it pays off well for us.
recently there were articles mentioning that e911 is coming to vonage this summer. so that should be ironed out too.
i have tried this for international calls to india & indonesia, and the voice quality was good. for me it runs a couple of cents per minute higher than my other channels to call india, but saves me from hassles of buying the calling cards for india. just pick up my vonage line and dial direct.
wife approval factor has been awesome too!!
